WORLD ACCESS INTERNATIONAL CALLBACK INSTRUCTIONS
TO PLACE A CALL
1. Dial your assigned Access Phone Number (APN). Be sure to precede it
with the international access code for your country.
2. Hang up after 1 ring. The system will call you back at your
programmed Callback Number. If you let it ring 3 or more times, the
system will answer and you will be billed for the call by your local
telephone company.
3. The Callback System will call you back within seconds.
4. You will then hear: "Please enter your destination number followed by
the pound or hash sign", followed by a dial tone.
When you hear the dial tone, enter your destination number followed by
the # key as follows:
If calling the USA, Canada or the Caribbean, dial:
1 + Area Code + Number + #
If calling any other country, dial:
011 + Country Code + City Code + Number + #
5. When the party you called hangs up, you may place another call by
pressing the # key 3 times (# # #). This will allow you to make
multiple calls without having to repeat the call back process.
6. When you have completed your calls, press the * key 3 times (* * *)
to force a manual disconnect, or hang up. This will disconnect you from
the callback system.
Addendum: If you press the # # # sequence and then hang up without
placing another call, you will remain connected to the callback system.
It is imperative that you then press the (star) * key 3 times (* * *) to
force a manual disconnect.
TO CHANGE CALLBACK NUMBER AND INITIATE CALL
1. Dial your access number (APN).
2. Stay on the phone for several rings (about 5 rings) until the system
answers.
3. When you hear the tone, enter your 10 digit Authorization Code (PIN),
then wait for the voice prompt.
4. Enter the new Callback Number, wait for the voice prompt confirming
your new Callback Number. (There may be a short silence while you wait
for the electronic voice to verify your new Callback Number.)
Note: Do not hang up until you hear the verification of your new
Callback Number. Then hang up.
If the new Callback Number is in the USA, Canada or the Caribbean,
enter:
1 + Area Code + Number + #
If the new Callback Number is in any other country, enter:
011 + Country Code + City Code + Number + #
5. In a moment, the system will call you back at your new Callback
Number. You will then hear: "Please enter your destination number
followed by the pound or hash sign", followed by a dial tone.
When you hear the dial tone, enter your destination number followed by
the # key as follows:
If calling the USA, Canada or the Caribbean, dial:
1 + Area Code + Number + #
If calling any other country, dial:
011 + Country Code + City Code + Number + #
6. When the party you called hangs up, you may place another call by
pressing the # key three times ( # # #). This will allow you to make
multiple calls without having to repeat the call back process.
7. When you have completed your calls, press the * key 3 times (* * *),
or hang up. This will disconnect you from the callback system.

If the Callback Number includes an extension (or room number), enter
the Callback Number followed by #4# the extension and #. This will
instruct the system to request your specific extension (or room number)
by computerized voice when calling back. To facilitate transfer of the
call to your phone, you may wish to inform the receptionist that you are
expecting a computer call shortly, that will ask for your room number or
extension. NOTE: In some locations, the # key is not easily recognized
by the local telephone company. You may need to use #4# # or even ###4#
to enter an extension.
IF YOU TRAVEL TO THE US AND WISH TO PLACE A CALL FROM THE USA
1. Dial the World Access USA 800 access number: 1-800-816-8661
2. Wait for the voice prompt.
3. Enter your PIN Code: Authorization Code
4. After the voice prompt, dial your destination number:
1 + Area Code + Number + #
For calls outside the United States, Canada or the Caribbean dial:
011 + Country Code + City Code + Number + #
When you are done with your call, you may Hang Up, or press the # key
to place another call. If you make a mistake dialing your
Authorization Code, or destination number, you are allowed one retry
by pressing the * key.
